HurricaneA hurricane is a huge storm. Hurricanes rotate in a counter-clockwise direction around an "eye."  The center of the storm or "eye" is the calmest part.

When it occurs?

Hurricanes are usually accompanied by electrical storms and typically occur during summer and early autumn.

In a day a hurricane can release the amount of energy necessary to satisfy the electrical needs of the entire United States for about six months.
